While he may not have the golden look, Kona (formerly Sampson, 10-385) is a golden at heart. This gentle boy joined our forever home in 2011 after RAGOM rescued him from an overcrowded shelter in southern Iowa. Since then he has become a neighborhood star, socializing with kids, adults and other pets on each of his daily walks. He has also brought much joy to the residents of a local Assisted Living facilty that he visits on a weekly basis.

Goldzilla is RAGOM's annual Fun Fair and Walk for Rescue. Funds raised at this event supports our mission of rescuing and rehoming Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes of all ages. This year, RAGOM will take in over 400 dogs. Your support is needed to help provide the veterinary care, training and fostering each dog requires before finding his or her adoptive family.
