This is Jake. Jake was not a RAGOM alumni but it is because of him that I became a RAGOM volunteer.
Jake was an "only child" for most of his life until he "paw-picked" his very own little sister, Jayden (09-023). Jayden came to our home as a foster for RAGOM and was about as mentally "broken" as they come. Abandoned as a puppy, scared of the world and everything in it. In August of 2010, our beloved Jake went to the bridge and we knew that Jayden would not fare well, being an only child. Then along came Maggie (10-332). Maggie was a happy & healthy 11 month old puppy who was surrendered to RAGOM due to lack of potty training skills on the owners part - she was tied up in the owners garage prior to being rescued by RAGOM.
Jayden & Maggie are the GOLD in our lives and it all started with one special golden retriever named Jake.

Goldzilla is RAGOM's annual Fun Fair and Walk for Rescue. Funds raised at this event supports our mission of rescuing and rehoming Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes of all ages. This year, RAGOM will take in over 400 dogs. Your support is needed to help provide the veterinary care, training and fostering each dog requires before finding his or her adoptive family.
