Nicole (13-351) is back this year to give you an update on her life in her forever home.  Adopted in May of 2014, the past year has been filled with a lot of "first experiences".  Nicole was surrendered to RAGOM from a commercial breeder in late 2013 with her last litter of 8 pups and the father of her litter. The first 5  years of her life were spent with little exposure to the outside world and she was very uncertain of people and all new things she encountered.   As her pups quickly found their forever homes through RAGOM, she needed to spend a little more time in a wonderful foster home learning to trust people and working to understand the new world that was opened up to her.

Looking back, I think Nicole (better known as Nic) really chose Buster (my older Golden) and me for her forever family.  She's been a busy girl during the last year going to training classes, having play dates with a wonderful pack of RAGOM friends, going on long walks with her former FM and foster sisters, doing lots of bonding ( a little too much over food, which led to a "first" diet), attending Meet & Greets to help the other RAGOM dogs, trying to learn to swim, going on Home Visits and just hanging out and learning from Buster. 

Nic, Buster and I officially became RAGOM volunteers in January of this year and I now have a greater appreciation of all that goes into each and every rescue.   Nic and countless other dogs have found their forever homes and brought joy to many because of the special care they received from RAGOM at every step along the way.   As we "Walk for Rescue" this year at Goldzilla, I'm hoping you will sponsor us so that RAGOM can continue to make a difference in the lives of the dogs and families that they serve.
