RAGOM (Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota) is a wonderful non-profit organization that rescues and re-homes unwanted, abused, neglected and displaced Golden Retrievers and Golden Retriever mixes, and locates permanent homes for them. I have been involved with the organization through both volunteering on the leadership team as the Manager of Marketing & Communications as well as loving the two dogs (Cody and Simba) that my parents have adopted over the years.  I have witnessed first-hand the amazing work of all of the volunteers who have dedicated their time and efforts to these beautiful animals who deserve love, safety and a forever home to call their own.

I will be walking with Simba at Goldzilla on September, 13, 2015, in honor of my family's rescue dogs Cody (aka 'Big Bear') and Simba - two of the sweetest creatures to have entered my life. I will also be walking on behalf of my beloved past Goldens: Mavrik, Champ and Rusty, who brought so much joy into my life.
