Thank you for helping Copper and I raise money for Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota (RAGOM)! We are looking forward to joining hundreds (yes, that's right, hundreds!) of Golden Retrievers (and other Golden-hearted dogs) at Goldzilla on Sept. 13 at Long Lake Regional Park. Goldzilla is RAGOM's largest fundraising event of the year and the largest gathering of Golden Retrievers in the Midwest.

Copper is a RAGOM alum, having been surrendered twice for different reasons. His second time with RAGOM, he had a torn ACL and was provided the necessary surgery to get him back on all four. Copper's medical care is just one example of the many expensive medical procedures RAGOM provides to its dogs. Whether it's a torn ligament, heartworms or cancer, no known medical issue goes untreated while a dog is in RAGOM's care. RAGOM even provides hospice care for those unable to be healed.

RAGOM dogs come from many sources, including breeders, auctions, welfare cases, shelters, and owner surrenders. Sometimes becoming a RAGOM dog is the first time a dog has been out of a cage, inside a home, and given love and attention. RAGOM foster families do amazing things to help these dogs become confident and loving pets for their forever family. 

RAGOM is an award-winning, all volunteer organization that relies on donations in order to give dogs a Golden life. RAGOM has rescued and rehomed more the 8,000 dogs in the past 30 years; more than 300 will find forever families this year.
