Dear friends and family,

Having never done a fundraising page before, I don't really know what to write. In December 2014 Brittany and I took the plunge and added a second dog to our life. In came a spunky, stubborn, wild, 1/2 eared golden retriever named Scout. We got him as a 6 month old from the rescue organization RAGOM. Despite the destroyed shoes (and rugs, A LOT of rugs) and many surgeries, he has really been an awesome dog. Scout spent a lot of the first 6 months of his life in a kennel, then had an amazing foster, then came to us. He is one of the "easy" cases RAGOM takes on. They take golden and golden mixes from all over the country. Some of them are 6 years old and have NEVER TOUCHED GRASS. Some of them were abused or left for dead. Some are bred over and over and over while never leaving a kennel. Some were surrended because they are old, have physical ailments or the people just didn't want a dog. Regardless of reason, these dogs deserve the best life they can get and RAGOM helps offer that through a network of volunteers, fosters and forever homes (I really wanted to write furever, so I put it here).

Scout (and Brittany and I, because he doesn't have an email address) were asked to be ambassadors at the largest RAGOM fundraising event of the year, Goldzilla. So here I am, asking for your support.
