Fun with NUMBERS amounts to Donate I founded RAGOM in 1985, 37 years ago, when I was 34 and since then, we've rescued and re-homed over 9,300 dogs in need. Started with 5 Volunteers who took in and vetted & placed 2-4 dogs every 10 days. RAGOM grew fast to 50 volunteers, now we have over 300 on our master list. On average over $1,000 is spent on each dog from intake till adoption. I adopted my 1st dog FORD in 2004, 2nd dog DOC from Turkey in 2015, and now have Leo, who we rescued from Korea's meat trade in 2019. Leo received a freedom flight from a pilot who donated his services to get Leo to safety. While in our care, Leo underwent treatment for heartworms. Leo became Leo Nygaard when I adopted him Feb 2020. He is one of the many dogs who are so fortunate to have been Rescued By RAGOM.
On the 21st I will be 71. PLEASE use any of these numbers or any other you can come up with such as YEARS you volunteer, # of dogs Fostered, or number you have Adopted.
