It's almost time for RAGOM's annual fundraiser, Goldzilla. RAGOM has seen an increase in the numbers of dogs who have been surrendered this year. This is especially true of the retired breeder moms and lots of puppies ever. Many of these pups have medical or surgical issues that have to be treated before they can find their forever homes to begin living the golden lives they so deserve.

Please make a donation to my fundraising page if you can do so. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Goldzilla is September 11,2022, a great day for everyone and especially the pups.

Jemma is a retired breeder mom who came into RAGOM after having several litters. Who knows how many but she was pretty shut down at the age of four. It took awhile but gradually Jemma was able to start trusting humans and slowly came out of her shell. One day at a RAGOM meet and greet, Therese came with her dog, Riley for a nail trim, met Jemma and decided Jemma needed to become a member of her family. After going through the RAGOM process, Jemma, now Gemma because she is a Gem, was adopted byTherese and Riley and has a wonderful life where she continues to grow in confidence.

Rose is a golden doodle at the age of six came into RAGOM from being done with her breeder days. Rose had never been groomed and was a matted mess. Initial grooming required that she be basically shaved to get rid of the matts. It sort of brought out her personality and there were some instant changes that made her seem much happier. Rose also had some anxietes commom to breeder dogs but slowly overcame a lot of them. Deborah saw Rose at a meet and greet and her family came to meet Rose and decided that their dog Elsa and Rose would be a great pair. And they are! Rose looks to Elsa for many behaviors and follows her lead. Rose too has found a great life with Deborah, Kerry and Elerie and of course Elsa.
