If RAGOM hadn't intervened, Murphy would currently be living in an outdoor cage, with no family, no toys, no treats, no exercise, and little to no veterinarian care. He would be living in commercial breeding, and he would be afraid of everyone and everything. His only human encounters would be to remove him from a cage for siring puppies, and then back in the cage again. In the worst scenario, he has cages above and below him, with no separators to keep him protected from dog droppings and urine, which cause eye and ear diseases, skin issues, and more.
If this sounds like dire conditions, RAGOM has rescued dogs from even worse scenarios. Regardless of how a dog enters into RAGOM, the organization brings these dogs into foster homes, provides them the veterinary care, shelter, and support they need, so that they can begin to live a humane life, and be adopted into homes that will love them and keep them safe.
