Murphy's mom, Julie, was rescued from commercial breeding, and they wouldn't have let her go if they knew she was pregnant.  But Julie was severely underweight, so her pregnancy was a surprise, and Murphy and his siblings were born just a few days after Julie was brought into RAGOM's care.

Julie and all of Murphy's siblings received the veternary care they needed, and then were adopted into loving homes.  That is not the case with most of the dogs that languish in commercial breeding. RAGOM's new mission includes advocacy, to advocate for these innocent pups.

I've been volunteering with RAGOM for over a decade, including serving on the Board, and I can attest that this organization uses their money wisely.  The bulk of the money donated to RAGOM helps save and care for dogs.  This includes veternary care, which can be quite expensive.
