I’m proud to be fundraising for Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest (RAGOM) as part of the 2025 Goldzilla event — one of the biggest golden retriever gatherings around. This organization holds a very special place in my heart, and it all started with one very special pup: my sweet Lola girl. Lola’s gentle spirit, goofy grin, and endless loyalty sparked a passion in me for rescue work and opened my eyes to the incredible impact RAGOM has made over the past 40 years.

RAGOM isn’t just about rescuing golden retrievers — though they do that beautifully. It’s about giving dogs a second chance at life. From pulling dogs out of commercial breeding facilities and unsafe situations, to helping families afford the medical care they need to keep their beloved pets — RAGOM is always there, tail wagging, ready to help. They also advocate for real change, working to bring transparency and better standards to breeding practices through legislative efforts. But none of this is possible without supporters like you.

Whether you donate, volunteer, attend Goldzilla, or simply help spread the word — YOU are making a difference for dogs who can’t speak for themselves.
